FAQ's about Painted Glass

Will the paint wash off?

NO!  The paint has been heat fired to the glass and is very washable and durable; guaranteed.  It is microwave safe too.

Can I was the glass in the dishwasher?

YES! The paint manufacturer says painted glass can be washed on the top shelf and I have tested it with my own glasses. However dishwashers can be hard on glassware and a sharp object like a knife can scratch the paint. So I recommend, as with any fine glassware, to hand wash when possible.

Will the paint fade?

I’ve been washing my own for five years now without any noticeable fading.

If I order glasses one at a time will they all match?

Each glass is handpainted and so each will have slight variations.  If you want sets it is best to order them all at once. I am always updating patterns and techniques.

What if I break one of a set?

Every effort will be made to duplicate a glass.  Sometimes its best to send one back to me so I can copy it exactly.
